April 16, 2021  by  Bree Rody

The first-ever Minnesota RNG plant is now operational.

The three-dairy facility, located in Inver Grove Heights, will capture more than 700,000 gallons of manure daily, which will be converted to 2,000 standard cubic feet per minute of biogas into more than 98 percent RNG.

The project, dubbed Riverview, LLP, was a joint collaboration between renewable transportation fuel company Amp Americas as technology supplier DMT Clear Gas Solutions. This represents the second collaboration between DMT and Amp Americas. The construction aspect of the project resulted in 140 jobs during that period; six additional permanent full-time jobs were added upon completion.
