Michigan utility looking to buy electricity from ADs

March 25, 2014 – Michigan-based Consumers Energy is pushing forward on a new program in which the utility will buy electricity produced by anaerobic digesters.

Consumers Energy expects to buy 2.4 MW of electric capacity from anaerobic digesters selected through the program. It is open only to the utility’s electric customers, and applications will be accepted from April 1 through June 2. READ MORE
