Two more WI towns ban pivot manure spreading

November 24, 2014, Green Bay, WI – Two more town boards in Southern Door County voted this month to ask Sturgeon Bay attorney Randy Nesbitt, who does legal work for half the communities on the peninsula, to draft ordinances banning center-pivot irrigation spreading of liquid manure.

In separate meetings, the Gardner and Brussels supervisors voted to have Nesbitt prepare ordinances with restrictions virtually identical to those already adopted by the towns of Sevastopol and Sturgeon Bay. The only changes necessary would be in naming the specific government entity. READ MORE
