PED changes approach to manure management

May 14, 2014, Winnipeg, Man – The executive director of the Manitoba Livestock Manure Management Initiative says efforts to contain PED have changed how manure is managed.

Last week the office of Manitoba’s Chief Veterinary Officer confirmed an investigation related to a positive sample from a high traffic site has identified the province’s second on-farm case of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus. READ MORE
