– Several years and millions of dollars later, the county’s first anaerobic
biodigester is scheduled to begin turning cow manure into energy that will
power three county buildings by this fall.

– Several years and millions of dollars later, the county’s first anaerobic
biodigester is scheduled to begin turning cow manure into energy that will
power three county buildings by this fall.
Crews will in the next few
weeks begin electrical, mechanical and construction work at the county
biodigester on County House Road and mark the beginning of the final stage of a
project that has taken the Cayuga County Soil and Water District three years to
complete by inching forward as money became available.
