EPA release of CAFO info draws fire

April 12, 2013 – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is asking environmentalists to return confidential data about feedlots, dairies and other operations, but a cattle industry group says the request is “too little, too late.”

The EPA has acknowledged that data about confined animal feeding operations was turned over to environmentalists under a Freedom of Information Act request earlier this year. READ MORE
