Universities seek grant to run NM center

April 12, 2013, Des Moines, IA – University researchers are seeking a federal grant to create a nutrient management center to help fight farm runoff linked to the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Center for Nutrient Management would be run by Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and the University of Illinois, Larry Weber of the Iowa Flood Center told members of a state water resources panel recently. READ MORE
