WI dairy vows more oversight after manure spill

July 29. 2014, Calumet, WI – A Wisconsin dairy farm has hired a director of operations and revised its spill plan after about 50,000 gallons of manure was spilled into Pipe Creek and Lake Winnebago on Memorial Day weekend.
The dairy and the manure applicator were the subjects of an enforcement conference July 17 with representatives of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. READ MORE
