enough electricity to power an additional 150 homes from cow manure and food
waste, thanks to $320,000 from the Washington Department of Commerce.

enough electricity to power an additional 150 homes from cow manure and food
waste, thanks to $320,000 from the Washington Department of Commerce.
The award for the digester
upgrade on Darryl Vander Haak’s farm is part of $16.5 million in grants and
loans from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for energy efficiency,
clean technology, transportation and bioenergy programs in Washington state.
