Truck hauling manure crashes, spills 4K-gallons

April 9, 2015, Lisle, NY — A state hazardous materials team is monitoring the spilling of thousands of gallons of liquid manure along a rural upstate New York road.

State police say a 43-year-old man was driving a tractor-trailer hauling about 4,000 gallons of liquid manure on April 8 when he drifted onto the soft shoulder of the road and overturned in a ditch in the Broome County town of Lisle, 50 miles south of Syracuse. READ MORE
