Tribe cut off from lawsuit over manure

OK — The Cherokee Nation plans to immediately appeal a federal judge’s recent
decision that blocked the tribe’s entry into a pollution lawsuit filed against
Arkansas poultry companies.

U.S. District Judge Greg
Frizzell won’t allow the tribe’s intervention into the federal lawsuit filed by
Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson.
