June 1, 2010, London, Ont. – London has lost a $20-million “flagship” green-energy processing plant heralded as a potential leader in the Ontario biogas industry.

StormFisher Biogas has pulled the plug on its plans to open the plant after its new U.S. parent company ran into financial issues. “It is bad news, sad news,” Vinay Sharma, chief executive of London Hydro, said Monday. “This was a wonderful story for London. We needed it to move us one step ahead in the arena of green-energy manufacturers. It is a missed opportunity.” | READ MORE
