Noblehurst Farms adds second digester

August 26, 2013, York, NY — Noblehurst Farms, which has a reputation for being committed to green operations and stewardship, is adding a second anaerobic digester to its Craig Road farm.

The new digester is about three times larger than its first digester, installed a decade ago. The new project, estimated at costing between $3 and $5 million, will expand the capabilities of the digester and produce more electricity than the previous project, which was the area’s first digester and among the first in the state.
