More on-farm renewable energy funding available

Coordination Inc. (FPPC) recently approved funding to encourage additional pilot projects for nutrient
management systems.

Apr. 25, 2008 – Farm Pilot Project Coordination Inc.’s (FPPC) board of directors recently approved additional funding to encourage additional pilot projects for nutrient management systems.

FPPC will fund $ 1.8 million in nutrient management systems aimed at converting animal waste streams into a revenue stream for three different forms of energy – pellet fuel, thermal and liquid biofuel.

Technology providers, equipment suppliers, industry researchers, regulators and farm owner and growers interested in combining their waste treatment approach to renewable energy solutions sets are invited to review the requirements, evaluation criteria and pre-qualify by May 2 by filling out the required application .
