on a coffee as his twin boys and a daughter burned off excess energy at
an indoor playground.

July 2, 2010, Abbotsford, B.C. – Five years ago, Chris Bush was sipping on a coffee as his twin boys and a daughter burned off excess energy at an indoor playground.

To pass the time, he started reading a Popular Science magazine. On page 63 was a sidebar story about anaerobic manure digestion in Vermont. It described how excess energy from manure was being converted to heat homes.

From then on, Bush began to believe poop could pay off.
