consider whether the state's program regulating 200 large livestock and
poultry farms violates the federal Clean Water Act.

June 25, 2009, Lansing, Mich. – The Michigan Supreme Court will not consider whether the state's program regulating 200 large livestock and poultry farms violates the federal Clean Water Act.

The five-to-two order released June 24 was a setback for state regulators who asked the high court to hear their appeal.
