Iowa sues two hog companies

Feb. 5, 2010, Des Moines, IA – The Iowa Attorney General's Office has filed a lawsuit
against two companies that operate eight large hog confinement facilities in
Kossuth and Palo Alto Counties.

The lawsuit filed recently
contends that General Development LC and Kollasch Land and Livestock Inc.
failed to submit or comply with required manure management plans for their
operations.
