Fatal crash raises farm equipment questions

WI – A crash last week that killed a teenager who drove into a manure spreader
that was stopped on a dark, fog-shrouded road in the Town of Belgium last week
has raised questions about safety lights required on farm vehicles.

WI – A crash last week that killed a teenager who drove into a manure spreader
that was stopped on a dark, fog-shrouded road in the Town of Belgium last week
has raised questions about safety lights required on farm vehicles.

Steven R. Casarez, 19, of
Adell, was on his way to help a friend at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, when he
crashed his 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck into the back of a manure spreader
attached to a farm tractor.
