WI manure spill causes stinky situation

November 6, 2013, Green Bay, WI – One week after a manure spill in southern Door County, brown water was still flowing in what is normally a dry creek bed that leads to Kayes Creek.

Manure showed up in the unnamed tributary Oct. 25 and an investigation by authorities as to how and why is still pending. Kayes Creek is a seven-mile-long stream that flows through the Gardner Swamp State Wildlife Area before emptying into Little Sturgeon Bay. READ MORE
