Water-watchers set to sue chicken farm, Perdue
An environmental group says it plans to sue a Berlin chicken farm and
Perdue, which the farm is contracted with, after flying overhead and viewing
water running off piles of manure into drainage ditches near the farmland.

MD – An environmental group says it plans to sue a Berlin chicken farm and
Perdue, which the farm is contracted with, after flying overhead and viewing
water running off piles of manure into drainage ditches near the farmland.
The Waterkeeper Alliance,
a broadly focused group with local chapters, and the Assateague Coastkeeper
announced the intent to file suit. The defendants will be the Alan and Kristin
Hudson Farm in Berlin and Perdue Farms Inc.
