September 19, 2008, Madison, WI – A new automated manure management system called the WasteSolver™ will be featured for the first time at the 2008 World Dairy Expo.

The system will be available to be viewed at booth AR492.

The patent-pending WasteSolver™ – manufactured by TyraTech Inc. of Melourne, FL – is an automated manure management system that reduces environmental problems and lagoon maintenance by capturing 50 to 70 percent of suspended manure solids, and then naturally treating the solids in 24 hours through a method similar to pasteurization. The continuous and rapid process is designed to reduce the production of methane by avoiding composting and by aerating liquids that are returned to the lagoon.

This system is designed to provide an automated solution that efficiently and cost-effectively turns manure into ready to use bedding and organic horticulture ready growing media, which generates incremental profit opportunities for dairies.

Two systems have recently sold to dairies in California.

The World Dairy Expo runs from September 30 to October 4, 2008.
