Norco to consider study on manure-to-energy plant

Riverside, CA – Norco could take the next step toward building a plant that
would turn horse manure into energy when the city council considers
whether to pay for another feasibility study.

The city paid for a
similar study in 2003, but the projected $10 million cost of the plant and lack
of land owned by the city led Norco to shelve the idea.
