IWCA returns for 2025

February 1, 2025  by Manure Manager

Nominations are open as of Feb. 1 for the 2025 Influential Women in Canadian Agriculture (IWCA) program.

Now in its sixth year, the IWCA program recognizes and celebrates women from all facets of agriculture in Canada, including farm owners and operators, researchers, business leaders, advocates and more. Honourees are selected based on their impact in their respective fields and communities as leaders and innovators.

Every year, IWCA honourees are profiled through a podcast series and interviews, with the program culminating in a virtual summit in the fall featuring panels, keynotes and more.

Previous honourees include Farm Management Canada executive director Heather Watson, University of Guelph professor Tina Widowski, Livestock Water Recycling co-founder and CEO Karen Schuett and OPACA and LICO executive director Mel Luymes.
