Illinois State University will host a livestock manure management field day
Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the university research farm near Lexington.
Registration will begin at
8:30 a.m. The morning program will offer mini-seminars on optimizing the
fertilizer value of manure, new manure resources on the Internet, an update of
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) regulations, innovative
economical technologies to control liquid manure odor, manure processing, and
low- and no-odor methods for land applying processed liquid manure.
