Wisc manure digester has second spill

January 22, 2014, Waunakee, WI – For the second time in two months, a manure spill occurred at the Waunakee Community Manure Digester, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi’s office said.

The incident occurred (Jan.20) when a pipe failure caused the discharge of nearly 20,000 gallons of manure, according to a letter from Parisi to the digester’s operator, Milwaukee-based Clear Horizons LLC. READ MORE
