WI residents object to trucks on road, manure

January 23, 2013, New Haven, WI – Two New Haven residents have asked the Town Board to stop the spreading of manure on farmers’ fields and the hauling of it over town roads.

The two residents said that manure from the New Chester Dairy in Adams County is being trucked along Golden Avenue to fields where it was being spread, adding that one overweight truck does as much damage as 9,600 cars. READ MORE
