WI rabbit farmer uses manure as commodity

October 17, Tomah, WI – Randy Nierling has made great strides to turn his large-scale rabbit farm near Tomah, WI, into an environmentally friendly operation.
He has been working with Monroe County plus the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), to build a manure pit for the 5,000-animal operation. The 360,000-gallon manure pit sits behind Nierling’s rabbit barn. READ MORE
