WI frowns on bans of pivots

WI — The scramble to ban or regulate center-pivot manure sprayers in some Rock
and Walworth county townships has caught the eyes of the state’s agriculture
and natural resources departments.

WI — The scramble to ban or regulate center-pivot manure sprayers in some Rock
and Walworth county townships has caught the eyes of the state’s agriculture
and natural resources departments.

The departments’ directors
aren’t exactly saying, “Knock it off.” But the departments encouraged
Wisconsin's towns and counties associations to help members avoid ordinances
restricting agricultural technology.
