WI county committee restores digester funding

November 16, 2015, Dane County, WI – Without debate, county officials recently elected to restore $500,000 in funding for a largely untried technology intended to reduce phosphorus runoff into Dane County lakes.
The county’s Personnel and Finance Committee voted unanimously to restore to the 2016 capital budget funding for a nutrient concentration system that would be installed at a county-sponsored digester in the town of Springfield, near Middleton. READ MORE
