they’ve been storing all winter.

livestock producers are eager to get into the field and apply the manure that
they’ve been storing all winter.

“But applying it now may
not be the best idea for two reasons,” said Ken Hessenius, supervisor of the
Iowa Department of Natural Resources' Spencer field office.
