WA dairy trying to keep manure out of groundwater

December 14, 2016, Granger, WA — Work is reportedly underway at a Lower Valley dairy to ensure cow manure stored in ponds doesn’t seep into groundwater.
The Cow Palace Dairy north of Granger began last week installing liners in its lagoons to prevent manure from seeping into groundwater, according to a news release from Western Environmental Law Center in Eugene, OR. READ MORE
