research on the use of manure for restoring soil productivity.

Larney, a researcher with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), has done
research on the use of manure for restoring soil productivity.
Studies looked at topsoil
removal and manure and composted manure for well-site reclamation. He says
these studies demonstrate what he calls a win-win situation for using manure or
compost generated by the livestock industry to restore productivity of eroded
soils.
