Belgrade goat dairy in 2000, goat manure quickly piled up.

August 27, 2010, Great Falls, MT – When Sue and Mel Brown started their Belgrade goat dairy in 2000, goat manure quickly piled up.

About six years ago, their son Nate Brown, a freshman in college at the time, saw the piles as a potential revenue stream. He started selling the manure as compost to area nurseries and to people who used it in their backyard gardens.
