State fines farmer over manure

Feb. 5, 2010, Des Moines, IA –

An Iowa livestock hog and cattle farmer paid a $60,000
fine in a case involving manure pollution in a northeast Iowa trout stream.

Kenneth Moellers paid the
court-order fine after the state cited violations of manure-management
regulations and water pollution incidents.
