I’ve been accused of being stuck
in the 1980s, but no one can say that about Manure Manager magazine! Or
North American farmers! According to the U.S. Department of
Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), 62
percent of livestock producers in the U.S. have access to or own a
computer and 55 percent are cultivating the internet. This is up
significantly from 1997 data, which showed only 31 percent of U.S.
farmers had a computer and 13 percent were online.
