Second manure digester coming to Dane County

Executive Kathleen Falk said she wants to start working on a second manure
digester in the county to help generate electricity and stop runoff into area
lakes.

Executive Kathleen Falk said she wants to start working on a second manure
digester in the county to help generate electricity and stop runoff into area
lakes.

The state of Wisconsin
recently approved spending $3.3 million on the project. The money will help the
county work with the farmers and a private company in developing the project.
