Residents criticize WI board as manure spill reported

May 12, 2016, Kewaunee, WI – At a recent Land and Water Conservation Committee, residents expressed anger over new reports that 11 county wells were contaminated with salmonella and rotavirus.

During the morning, several members of the Land and Water Conservation Department – located across the hall from the meeting – were called out to a manure spill at a farm that had recently hosted a Peninsula Pride Farms seminar on improving conservation practices for farmers.
