research on the effectiveness of the Ohio Natural Resources Conservation
Service guidelines for reducing the environmental risks associated with winter
application of manure.

For three years, the NAEW
has winter applied beef slurry, liquid swine manure, and turkey litter to plots
and small watersheds.
