For operators tired of wasting time and energy running back and forth from the slurry tank to the agitation pump, an Iowa company now offers Remote Load. The product allows operators to control the agitation pump from the comfort of their tractor cab and not have to get out in the elements to make those extra trips.

Agitation pumps can be controlled with a convenient hand-held remote. Tanks are pulled under the load stand, a button is pushed and the filling starts. When full, another button is pushed and the operator can head back to the field.

Remote Load Inc’s butterfly valve mounts directly on top of pumps, with no modifications required. It features a stainless steel disc and EDPM rubber seal. The valve is said to eliminate seepage and has smooth opening and closing. It has three-position remote open/close/partial close and slows flow to completely fill the tank. The receiver has a 500’ range, with a simple 12-volt DC hookup and external antenna.
