Proposed barns put property values at risk: neighbors

July 24, 2014, Dover, DE — About 40 citizens turned out recently to discuss the construction of more than 20 chicken houses on adjoining plots of land in Farmington at a public meeting at the Kent County Levy Court Building.

Even though Kent hasn’t seen an operation of this scale before, the owners had to submit plans just as any size poultry operation would.
