Police called to rowdy IA meeting

October 18, 2012, Des Moines, IA – It would appear a recent meeting of the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission was a bit rowdier that initially thought.
Officials were forced to call in police after members of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (CCI) became upset over a decision made by the commission allowing farmers to spread liquid manure on land to be used for soybean production. Members of CCI began shouting insults and catcalls at commission members. READ MORE
