Police called to rowdy IA meeting

October 18, 2012, Des Moines, IA – It would appear a recent meeting of the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission was a bit rowdier that initially thought.
Officials were forced to call in police after members of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (CCI) became upset over a decision made by the commission allowing farmers to spread liquid manure on land to be used for soybean production.
