Accelerator Plus contains enzymes chosen for their ability to digest the pericarp of the corn kernel and other difficult to digest feed substances, thereby limiting the formation of the pit crust on stored manure. If a farm operation processes corn with a roller mill or has a high fly population, despite keeping facility surfaces clean of manure, Accelerator Plus may be a good product for their facilities.
The product is quite easy to use. The 100-gram pack will treat up to 1,000 head in the nursery and 500 head in the grow/finisher and in sow production facilities. Simply rehydrate each packet of Accelerator Plus with clean water and apply the solution over the entire manure storage surface, either through the soaker system or with a Gilmore hose sprayer. Application should be repeated prior to each soaking, washing or on an as-needed basis.
