Ohio manure applicator among those fined

Washington Court House, OH – A mega-dairy near South Solon and a Wilmington
manure applicator were fined a combined $26,000 last week for a 2008 illegal
manure discharge that polluted six miles of Paint Creek’s East Fork in
southwest Madison County.

southwest Madison County.
Stardust Dairy, LLC and Joe Beam, operator of Beam Custom Application,
Wilmington, pleaded guilty to water pollution charges in Washington Court House
Municipal Court on Sept. 7.
