Officials investigate fish kill in Michigan river

May 23, 2013, Elkton, MI — State officials are working to determine the cause of hundreds of fish deaths in a Michigan river.
The Department of Natural Resources says the recent fish deaths were reported from the McMillan Drain, about 100 miles north of Detroit. A manure spill was reported recently week near where the fish kill began, but the Department of Environmental Quality is still investigating. READ MORE
