NY – A new digester, one that uses methane from manure to power generators, is
under construction at the 2,000-cow Synergy Dairy LLC.

The farm is working with
CH4 Biogas on the mixed-waste anaerobic digestion and renewable energy
facility. Together the farm and CH4 will own Synergy Biogas.

Wyoming County has four of
the 16 digesters in the state. The new one at Synergy will be the largest in
New York. The Synergy facility also will be the first biogas plant in New York
