NY — The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District will put a new spin
on the old expression waste not, want not, when it starts building a $9.5 million
dollar sustainable-energy digester plant later this month.

NY — The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District will put a new spin
on the old expression waste not, want not, when it starts building a $9.5 million
dollar sustainable-energy digester plant later this month.
The anaerobic digester
will run on cow manure and other waste products like restaurant grease, using
microorganisms to break down the biodegradable material in the absence of
oxygen.
