New manure sampling fact sheets
Livestock and
poultry manure are excellent sources of nutrients for annual and
perennial crop production but it is critical to know the nutrient
content of the manure to determine an appropriate manure application
rate to meet crop requirements, maximize yield and minimize
environmental impact.
