Veenhuis Machines has introduced its new 20 cubic-meter tandem and 25 cubic-meter three-axle tanks, specially developed for professional contractors.
Using a centrifugal pump, the tanks are filled—through the 8” swivelling suction arm—within about two minutes. The extreme suction depth is 5.75 meters. The suction arm is able to suck across a 4.8-meter high wall and then till 1.5 meters under the soil’s surface.
The equipment features a standard hydraulic sprung drawbar in combination with a short top cylinder. This drawbar has an extra long swing that makes driving comfortable, even in an uneven field. The self carrying tank—with its low center of gravity—and the hydraulic sprung axles with automatic lift-function also make for optimal driving. The chassis is steered electronically. A camera has been placed at the back of the tank.
With Michelin Cargobib 850/50 R30.5 radial tires, the tank has a maximum width of three meters (inclusive of Trail-hose system). A Trail-hose slurry system with 30 meters working breadth hangs on the 7-ton Zuidberg linkage. The Trail-hose system is available from 12 meters to 30 meters. Two distributors provide optimal manure distribution. Different parts can be closed pneumatically from the tractor’s cabin.
Active levelling provides optimal distribution on sloping surfaces. An automatic dosage-control system with flowmeter is integrated into the system, and a printer is optional. The linkage, provided with infinite variable pressure control, is also suitable for arable land or grassland injectors.
The tank has been equipped with a mixer and an integrated hydraulic system (Linde plunger pump, with oil tank and oil cooler). A splash plate option is available.
The tank is available as a 20 cubic-meter tandem or a 25 cubic-meter three-axle.
