NDSU fined for manure spill in 2010

January 28, 2011 – North
Dakota State University has been fined $5,000 in connection with a manure spill
last July, the ND Department of Health recently announced.

Dakota State University has been fined $5,000 in connection with a manure spill
last July, the ND Department of Health recently announced.

Up to $4,000 of that fine
can be dismissed if NDSU meets certain conditions aimed at preventing future
spills, said Dennis Fewless, the department’s director of the water quality
division.
