More lawsuits filed over PA pig farm

May 4, 2015, Township of Salem, PA – Dozens of Salem Township residents are crying foul against the owners of a 4,800-pig factory farm they say is bringing noxious odors, hazardous substances and flies to their East Berwick neighborhood, devaluing their properties to a tune of more than $10 million.

Complaints were filed in Luzerne County this week in two new suits, one started earlier in April and one in February, against the farm operation, the custom applicator and the company that owns the pigs at the concentrated animal feeding operation. READ MORE
